Our Story

The Orangery Tea Room is located in the heart of the Norfolk countryside just 15 minutes from the centre of Norwich. Set in the stunning grounds of the historic Ketteringham Hall and enjoying views over the beautiful lake, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or a pot of loose leaf tea alongside our home made cakes and sweet treats.

We also offer light lunches with a selection of sandwiches or paninis, salads or a quiche or soup of the day. Everything is made to order!

For an extra special treat why not book yourself, friends and family a beautiful traditional Afternoon Tea, with a selection of finger sandwiches, mini sweet treats and freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam.

Our unique position will allow us to use wonderfully fresh, seasonal produce grown by the Norfolk School of Gardening here in the Walled Garden at  Ketteringham Hall. All of our coffee granules, tea leaves and peelings go back into the garden to be composted together with our compostable takeaway containers.

Well behaved dogs are made welcome on our terrace but must be kept on a lead. Water and dog treats are always available.

Due to the nature of the building there is currently no wheelchair access to the tearoom however we are trying to address this. We can make arrangements to move tables to those that can not get to us.
