In order to keep our staff and customers safe we are operating with Covid-precautions in place. There is a one-way system on the terrace, with social distancing required throughout. We ask that all customers wear face masks inside the tearoom – these can be taken off whilst you are sitting at your table. Our team will be wearing masks or visors and we ask that you pay with card instead of cash.
Tables are available Wednesday to Sunday – we now have a limited number of tables inside the tearoom and our outdoor tables are still available. It is not mandatory for customers to book a table ahead of their visit, but due to continued demand for tables we strongly recommend that you pre-book a table to avoid disappointment. Please note that we require at least 48 hours’ notice for Afternoon Tea bookings.
Takeaways are available Thursday to Sunday and can include anything from our usual menu, except alcohol. We invite you to take your purchases away with you or to enjoy them in the grounds of Ketteringham Hall. Although we encourage our customers to enjoy the park you do so at your own risk.
The lawns have been made available to tearoom customers by kind permission of the owners of Ketteringham Hall so we ask for customers to be considerate of the wildlife, to place all rubbish in the bins provided and to ensure that children are supervised at all times. Dogs are welcome in the grounds and on our terrace, but they must be kept on the lead and unfortunately, except for guide and hearing dogs, we cannot allow them into the tearoom itself.
Our toilet facilities are available for customer use, but we request that you wear a mask and ask a member of staff for access so that they can explain our Covid-safe procedure.
